Installation

Determine the main load-bearing area on the mounting frame, and try to keep the position of the slewing bearing raceway quenching soft belt ("S" mark) at an angle of 90° to the main load-bearing area.

The horizontal rotation of the rotary transmission mechanism is placed on the mounting bracket to ensure that the transmission mechanism is in contact with the surface of the installation without gaps. If there is a gap, the material that can fill the gap should be filled to prevent deformation of the transmission mechanism after the bolt is tightened.

When installing the connecting bolt, connect the box to the mounting bracket, and then connect the gear/turbine to the rotating part. Tightening the mounting bolt should be symmetric in the 180° direction. The mounting bolts should have sufficient preload force, and the preload force on the bolts should be between 0.6 and 0.7 times the yield point of the bolts.

After installation, the debris inside and outside the mechanism should be removed in time to ensure that there is no interference with other components during operation. Welding work on or near equipment where this product is installed is not permitted. After the installation is completed, run the slewing mechanism under no-load condition, observe whether the operation is flexible and unblocked, and then run the test under load. Check the installation bolts after running test to see if there is looseness.

Lubricating
Improper lubrication is the most common cause of failure of the slewing mechanism. Therefore, the lubrication interval must be carried out regularly. Depending on the frequency of use and external working conditions, the type of grease used before and after replacement should be consistent to ensure compatibility. After long-term lag or cleaning of the slewing mechanism, the grease must be injected for the first time.
